Following in his father’s footsteps, Brian Pillman Jr. has taken the pro wrestling world by storm since his debut 2 years ago, and now he is part of the Best of the Indies 2019 8-pack.  While many in his position could try to coast by with their name, Pillman sought out the best training in pro wrestling and has honed his athleticism to become a top tier performer and is looking to forge his own path to success.  He has recently started teaming with a duo of other wrestlers with a storied legacy in the business, Davey Boy Smith Jr and Teddy Hart.  With hi skills and the backing of some experienced performers, Pillman is certainly on the road to wrestling stardom.

Kiera is the final name in the Ladies of the Indies 2019 8-pack.  While she isn’t the biggest competitor, her quickness and strength have helped her become a force in the indie women’s scene.  Hogan started her wrestling career in Georgia, before branching out throughout the country appearing at all the major women’s promotions including SHIMMER and WSU, where she won the Spirit Championship.  Now she regularly appears on national television and this “Girl on Fire” is sure to continue to blaze her own trail in pro wrestling.

The 7th man to join the Best of the Indies roster is one of the finest up and coming high flyers in the country, Wheeler YUTA.  YUTA was trained by Drew Gulak and has gained experience at a number of East Coast indies like CZW, Chikara and Beyond Wrestling.  He expanded his training in Japan and is now making his name across a number of top independent promotions seen throughout the country.  Wheeler YUTA is an example of the wrestler of the future, displaying a combination of technical wrestling holds and submissions, combined with high flying abilities few wrestlers possess.

The latest woman in the Women of the Indies 2019 game edition is one of the biggest women on the indies, the plus sized bombshell Faye Jackson.  After training in the ROH Dojo Faye has started to gain notoriety in the Midwest indies, where she is always sure to get a huge reaction.  Besides being a formidable women’s wrestler, she is also adept at intergender matches, where she can occasionally outsize her male opponents.  As Faye continues to gain experience, her milkshake is sure to bring even more boys to the yard and fans to her side.

The Galaxy’s Greatest Alien Joins the Women of the Indies Roster!

Debuting on the independent wrestling scene 2 years ago was a woman with unearthly wrestling abilities and now she joins the Women of the Indies 2019 set, its Kris Statlander!  She claims to have recently escaped from Area 51, but received her wrestling training on Long Island, NY.  Statlander has burst onto the scene with phenomenal matches against both men and women, capturing gold along the way including the prestigious Independent Wrestling Championship.  The Galaxy’s Greatest Alien hails from the Andromeda Galaxy, which is sure to please Champions of the Galaxy fans.  This alien competitor is sure to continue to make her name in the pro wrestling world here on Earth for as long as she continues to compete before perhaps one day returning to her home planet.

The Lone Star Comes to the Best of the Indies Game!

The 5th man to be a part of the Best of the Indies 2019 lineup, is the Lone Star Curt Stallion!  Stallion grew up in Texas and began his training there before relocating to St. Louis to broaden his career.  The past few years Curt has become a major road warrior appearing in promotions all over the Midwest and Southern US, capturing gold in many prominent indies along the way.  He first appeared on the Nation scene as part of the 2017 ROH Top Prospect tournament. Starting in late 2018 Curt Stallion made the jump to EVOLVE, where he is now a featured performer for the company.

The Wolf is Back on the Prowl in the Women of the Indies Game!

The 5th woman to be part of the Women of the Indies 2019 game edition is part woman and part animal, its Kris Wolf!  As she often says Wolf was born in the US but made in Japan.  She fell in love with Japanese Joshi wrestling and moved to Japan to train and wrestle for a number of years.  In 2018 she began traveling the world competing for a number of independent promotions including Ring of Honor and SHIMMER.  Unfortunately in April of 2019 Kris Wolf retired from wrestling due to long-time issues from concussions, but her career can live on in your women’s promotion!

The fourth women in the Women of the Indies 2019 expansion is the beautiful Scarlett Bordeaux.  The Chicago native started her wrestling career as a valet and ring announcer, often performing in Ring of Honor.  In recent years she has focused more on wrestling and has had some success on both the indies and on National TV.  Recently the Smokeshow has gone back to the indies full time and also begun working often in Mexico, where she recently won mixed tag team gold with Sammy Guevara.  This “Perfect Ten” is sure to continue to turn heads, both in and out of the ring.

That’s right folks!  The next name in the Best of the Indies 2019 set is a man of many nicknames, the “Southern Psycho” Mance Warner!  Ol Mancer has certainly made a name for himself all over the independent circuit this year, facing a who’s who of wrestling.  The “Eye Poke God” came to prominence in the midwest and mid south areas, but has branched out more in the past year gathering many accolades including winning the CZW Championship and making it to the finals of the AIW JT Lighting Tournament.  Warner is now appearing frequently for some national promotions, impressing fans with his brutal lariats and infectious personality.  Try not to get a shocked look on your face when you witness the heights Mance Warner will continue to hit in his burgeoning career.
