Last Saturday January 23rd 2021 was the first annual Filsinger Games Perennial, our 3rd virtual event.  Like at GalactiCon, all attendees will receive a limited edition game card that would not be made available otherwise.  The limited edition card was for midwest enhancement wrestler Nacho Berrera. Game cards will be mailed to all attendees within the next week.

The day of Filsinger Games fan started with the preliminaries of 4 online game tournaments featuring all of the Filsinger Games product lines.  The tournament finals were held at the end of the day, followed by the Perennial championship between the 4 tournament winners.  The big winner in the end was Adam Marrow with Big Van Vader, taking home the first Perennial championship crown.

As usual the most popular parts of the online conventions are the Q&As.  There were talks from Filsinger Games creator Tom Filsinger and from game artist Werner Mueck that gave some insights into their creative processes.  Then there were panels for all game lines with some big reveals for what is coming in March.

The Champions of the Galaxy panel highlighted the War Games 2091 Reimagined set and the first artwork was shown for Mr. Galaxy!  Also in COTG Prime this year will be the inclusion of the next chapter of FTR, FTR Suspects!  Don’t forget to check out our Youtube Channel for a teaser for a new character being released in March, Pardon.

The Indies panel had a big announcement from Larry Legend.  Larry announced that the next Filsinger Games Indies release would be in partnership with IWTV (Independent Wrestling TV) and would feature 8 wrestlers from 8 different IWTV partner promotions.  The first wrestler announced was Joshua Bishop from AIW.  Indies Prime for Q1 will also tie in with the IWTV theme.

Finally at our Legends panel the big reveal was the announcement of Legends Expansion Pack VII, which would feature wrestlers from the vintage era of professional wrestling.  The first name announced is Iowa’s own Frank Gotch!  Legends Prime in Q1 as also announced to tie in with the Legends Expansion VI set that was released in December.

Stayed tuned each week throughout February and early March for more teasers on these new game editions.  Champions of the Galaxy teasers will be Mondays, Indies on Wednesdays and Legends on Fridays.  Preorder for all game editions and for Promoter Prime will begin at the end of February and games will begin mailing the 2nd half of March.

At the Perennial Filsinger Games also announced that there will be 2 more virtual events coming in the next few months.  There will be a spring online event in April that more details will be announced for soon.  Also the dates for GalactiCon 2021 have been announced as July 9-11.  The location for the event has yet to be announced, as Filsinger Games is still assessing the best way to do an in-person event, but if there is one it will be on the East Coast.  Regardless there will be a large online component to the con, where fans who can not travel will be able to still participate in game tournaments, panels, the auction and more.  Stay tuned for more details on both events as information becomes available.
