GalactiCon 2023 – Filsinger Games 34th Annual Summer Convention!
Last year the Filsinger Games GalactiCon convention headed the farthest west that it ever had, in Chicago. In 2023 we go just a bit farther west. This year we hold GalactiCon in conjunction with the Pro Wrestling Hall of Fame Induction weekend in Waterloo, Iowa. It is two conventions in one weekend of pro wrestling goodness.
All times are local to Iowa in Central Daylight Time.
Convention Information
Date/Time: Friday July 21st 10AM – 2PM (Open Play 2PM to 5PM), Saturday July 22nd 9AM – 3PM (Open Play 3PM to 5PM) and Sunday July 23rd 10AM – 12PM.

Cost: $30 In-Person Convention ($15 with TNT Hall of Fame All Access Pass) – includes snacks and drinks, 3 GalactiCon Exclusive Game cards (1 COTG, 1 Legends, 1 Indie), 1 GalactiCon sticker and 1 exclusive in-person attendee item. Additional copies of the 3 Exclusive game cards (with sticker) are available to attendees for $15, but the exclusive in-person attendee item is limited to 1 per person. You must attend in-person to get the attendee item, not just purchase this ticket.
Virtual Convention: $15 cost includes the 3 GalactiCon Exclusive Game cards and sticker. Attendees will be able to stream content from the convention on Saturday from 9AM to 10:30M CDT and 12:30PM to 3:00PM, and be able to take part in tournaments from 10:30AM to 12:30PM. The 2 Tournament Winners will also be able to take part in the GalactiCon Cup Tournament on Sunday.

Online Attendees Will Participate in all the events in the 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM block. From 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM the Zoom room will be open with different discussion rooms and people from the live convention joining as well. Online and In Person Attendees will participate in separate versions of the Legends and GWF tournaments at the same time, with the winner of each version qualifying for the GalactiCon Cup.

- 11:30 AM – 12:30 PM – The Brisco and Big Ace Show podcast at the Dan Gable Museum. Special guests to be announced.
- 1:00 PM – Autograph signing legends at Fame Dan Gable Museum. All-Access Pass Holders enter first.

- 11:00 AM – GalactiCon Cup Tournament – Winners of all 8 tournaments during GalactiCon draft wrestlers for one final tournament with the matches happening in the Hall of Fame ring
The GalactiCon cup tournament will have 6 in person competitors and 2 online competitors. The online qualifiers will each pick an in person attendee to proxy play the match in person for them. The online qualifier will get to choose their wrestler in the draft and can manage their proxy player during the match via phone or zoom.
