GalactiCon 2025 – Filsinger Games 36th Annual Summer Convention!

GalactiCon heads south to the Baltimore, MD area for the first time.  We have a full schedule of events for those coming early on Friday through Sunday.  If you can’t make it in person we will have a virtual option as well.  But for the full experience you want to be there live!  Make your plans now and check out the events happening below.

Convention Information

Date/Time:  Saturday June 28th 11AM – 6:00PM and Sunday June 29th 10AM – 1:00PM.

Location: SpringHill Suites Baltimore BWI Airport, 899 Elkridge Landing Road, Linthicum, Maryland 21090. The convention will be held in the Fort McHenry/Francis Scott Key Event Rooms in the hotel.

In-Person Convention: $45, includes lunch on Saturday. All attendees will receive 2 limited edition game cards (1 Legends of Wrestling and 1 Indie Wrestling), a Special Edition COTG game card, a limited edition GalactiCon sticker and a bonus Filsinger Games card exclusive for In-Person attendees.

Virtual Convention:  $18 ($25 for Upgraded US Shipping, $30 for Priority Mail Upgraded Shipping). Virtual Convention will be open 1-6 Saturday and 10-1 Sunday EDT. Attendees will receive a survey asking for tournament preferences and availability. Information on how to log into the event will be emailed a few days prior to the event.  All attendees will receive 2 limited edition game cards (1 Legends of Wrestling and 1 Indie Wrestling), 1 COTG Special Edition card and a limited edition GalactiCon sticker.

Hotel Information

SpringHill Suites Baltimore BWI Airport

899 Elkridge Landing Road, Linthicum, Maryland 21090.

A room block has been set up with a special rate of $109 plus tax for a King with a sofa bed and $124 plus tax for a 2 Queen Room with a sofa bed. All rooms are studio suites and include free breakfast and free parking when you book in the room block. The hotel itself boasts a prime location, just a free shuttle ride from the Baltimore/Washington International Thurgood Marshall Airport (BWI). Additionally, the hotel is 10 minutes from the BWI Amtrak station, and 15 minutes from the Baltimore Greyhound Bus Station.

Friday June 27th

Orioles Park at Camden Yards

Tampa Bay Rays at Baltimore Orioles (7:05PM Start)

A group will be organized to attend the game leaving from the GalactiCon hotel at 5PM.  Tickets will be approximately $50. To be included email Todd@filsingergames.com by June 8th.

Friday Night Game release timing will be announced closer to the convention.

Saturday June 28th

  • 11:00 AM – Convention Opens. The release of GWF Myth Worlds 2, Tragos and Thesz Hall of Fame Set 6, and Best of Indies Tag Team 2025, along with Convention Exclusive cards.
  • 11:00 AM – GWF Modern Day Tournament*
  • 11:45 PM – Indies Death Match Tournament*
  • 12:30 PM – Women’s Tournament*
  • 1:15 PM – Legends of Wrestling Tournament*
  • 2:00 PM – Lunch Break
  • 2:30 PM – Filsinger Games Trivia
  • 3:00 PM – Panel Discussion with Tom Filsinger, Filsinger Games Staff and Special Guest
  • 5:00 PM – Charity Auction to benefit the George Tragos/Lou Thesz Professional Wrestling Hall of Fame
  • 6:00 PM – Tournament Makeup Time and Open Game Play

Online Attendees Will Participate in events on Saturday including the Q&As.  The Zoom room will be open at 1PM and attendees will be able to participate in all events from 2:30 PM to 6:00 PM.  Online tournaments will be held the next day from 10AM to Noon Eastern with winners participating in the GalactiCon Cup tournament immediately after.

Post convention events Saturday night will be announced at or before the convention.

Sunday June 29th

  • 10:00 AM – America Cup Tournament*
  • 10:30 AM – Canada Cup Tournament – 4 Round Robins with a Final Four Playoff*
  • 12:00 PM – GalactiCon Cup Tournament – Winners of all 8 tournaments during GalactiCon draft wrestlers for one final tournament

Online Attendees will receive a survey to reserve a spot in the two online tournaments on Sunday June 30th.

  • 10:00 AM – GWF Modern Day Tournament*
  • 11:00 AM – Legends of Wrestling Tournament*

The GalactiCon cup tournament will have 6 in person competitors and 2 online competitors. The online qualifiers will get to choose their wrestler in the draft and can manage their wrestler via COTGonline.
