Filsinger Games promoters attending GalactiCon 36 from June 28-29 in Baltimore, Maryland are in for a special treat as former world heavyweight champion Tim Storm will be making an appearance as a special guest!
Storm, now known as Baron Von Storm, is a thirty-year ring veteran who utilized a brawling style to dominate the competition, winning more than 25 tag and singles titles in a career that has seen him wrestle across four different decades. Arguably Storm’s greatest career accomplishment was holding the world heavyweight title of a prominent U.S. nation-wide indies promotion for more than 400 days from 2016-2017. This promotion, with more than 75-year history, has seen Legends of the sport such as Lou Thesz, Buddy Rogers, Harley Race and Jack Brisco hold the same title that Storm held and defended!
During his career, Storm has shared the ring with multiple Indies stars including AJ Styles, Big Strong Mims, Alex Taylor, Thrillbilly Silas Mason, Sam Adonis, Matt Cordona, Thom Latimer, and Keith Lee. With his longevity in the ring and countless promotions he has competed in, Storm will undoubtedly have some stories from the road that promoters will not want to miss!
