The Team of Command & Control (Star Slayer and Adam Blast) faced off against their rivals, Higher Class (Adam Traitor and the Prince of the Rose) at the Cepton Center as the final match of the night at a CWF event right before the end of 2116. This was an eagerly anticipated matchup, as Adam Traitor has been mocking his “weak” alternate version (Adam Blast) for his sporadic headaches over the last year. Magnus Colby was uncharacteristically not in the Arena, as he was preparing the Prime Colonizer for a title shot later in the month at Final Conflict.
After about five minutes of action, Adam Blast took control of match, sending the young Prince of the Rose reeling. After slowing Adam Blast’s momentum down with a poke to the eyes, the rookie tagged in his partner. But as Adam Traitor went to step between the ring ropes, he collapsed, hitting the edge of the ring apron before falling to the floor at ringside.
The referee immediately called for the bell. Prince of the Rose stood on the ring apron in shocked disbelief as his partner lay motionless. Adam Blast brushed off Star Slayer’s concerns and went to check on his opponent as the referee motioned for medical assistance. Emergency personnel rushed out and checked on the fallen member of Future Shock before moving him onto a gurney and moving him out of the arena.
The CWF has issued a statement acknowledging that Adam Traitor is under medical observation and that he is undergoing a battery of tests to determine a cause for his collapse. The CWF declined to provide an update on his current condition nor if he had even regained consciousness, citing privacy concerns.
