Don Frye, a successful competitor in both pro wrestling and mixed martial arts, is the 2024 George Tragos Award winner! He is also the next entrant announced for the Tragos/Thesz Hall of Fame Set V roster! Frye made a name for himself in the emerging sport of mixed martial arts in 1996, after helping college teammate Dan Severn train for earlier competitions. After winning two MMA tournaments, Frye moved on to the world of professional wrestling, being trained by Curt Hennig. Frye carved out quite a career for himself in Japan, where he competed in multiple promotions. Frye is ready to square off against a “Who’s Who?” of wrestling stars, like fellow TNTHOF roster mate Gary Albright!
