While it has become clear over the last few years that many death match wrestlers can perform just as well in a more traditional wrestling match, it’s rare for a death match wrestler to use his skills to develop a completely new style. The Death Match Samurai, Akira, has done just that with “death catch”, making him one of the most unique performers going today. A relative newcomer to indie wrestling, debuting in 2018, Akira has been a fast-rising star and has already won a major independent championship in that time. Whether he works as a tag performer, singles competitor or death match tournament hunter, Akira is sure to make an immediate impact in any promotion.
Akira joins Mickie Knuckles, Big F’N Joe, Miedo Extremo and Ciclope in the 8 card Indies Death match 2023 game edition. Preorders begin this Friday October 13th and cards will ship in late October.
