Acrobat turned championship-winning wrestler, Sidney Akeem is the next name to be announced in Filsinger Games Best of The Indies 2025!
Before getting his start in professional wrestling, Akeem dazzled circus fans with his agility, as an acrobat in Cirque du Soleil. The five-year veteran of the mat game, spent his first four years wrestling for the biggest and most prominent wrestling promotion in the world. Akeem appeared on national television for the promotion frist in a managerial role, before dazzling fans with his gravity-defying, high-impact, and high-risk aerial offense in that same organization ’s developmental promotion. Success was quick for Akeem, who even defeated Indies great Cedric Alexander to win a singles title within that promotion.
Upon his departure from that promotion, in June 2024, Akeem moved onto one of the most prominent national Indies promotions in the United States. Since his arrival there, he has amassed an incredible 20-1-1 record, while wrestling some of the top names in Indies wrestling today, including Jack Cartwheel, Ninja Mack, Myron Reed, Gringo Loco, Rich Swann, Tony Deppen, Arez, Blake Christian, Leon Slater, Jimmy Lloyd, “Speedball” Mike Bailey, Alec Price, Zachary, Wentz, Man Like DeReiss, and Rey Horus.
Sidney Akeem joins seven other wrestlers in Best of the Indies 2025, which is available for pre-order along with SUDDEN DEATH 2094, which is the latest Champions of the Galaxy classic edition to be re-produced in color. Promoter prime yearly deliveries are available as well, including Legends of Wrestling. Sets will begin shipping at the end of March.
