The explosive powerhouse wrestler and one of the hottest names on the Indie wrestling scene today, “The Nomad” Bishop Dyer, brings his dominant striking and high-impact offense to the world of Filsinger Games as the headliner for BEST OF THE INDIES 2026!
Bishop Dyer was formerly known as the “Lone Wolf” during his greater than a decade tenure wrestling in the rings of the largest wrestling promotion in the world. During his career in that promotion, Dyer ascended from the development ranks, to winning the United States Heavyweight Title and King of the Ring Tournament. Another claim to fame that Dyer has earned was that he ended the career of wrestling legend Kurt Angle in his final match, retiring the George Tragos/Lou Thesz Professional Wrestling Hall of Fame talent!
Dyer made a name for himself in Indies circuits across the globe, sharing the ring with greats such as Matt Cordona, Shotzi Blackheart, Sam Adonis, Matt Riddle, Alexander Hammerstone, Killer Kross, Paul Walter Hauser, Rob Van Dam, Kip James, and PCO. He also competed against a World Heavyweight Champion that has existed for more than 75 years, Thom Latimer. Most recently, Dyer has teamed with fellow Indies star, Donovan Dijak, in a team known as the Skyscrapers, holding tag team championships.
Dyer headlines this spring’s eight-card BEST OF THE INDIES 2026 release, joining seven other wrestlers including “Fancy” Ryan Clancy, Eran Ashe, and Drew Parker. Promoters will be able to pre-order the BEST OF THE INDIES 2026 set this Friday, March 6, 2026, along with the GWF SECRET HISTORY 2 as well as Promoter Prime releases for all game lines! Pre-orders and spring Promoter Prime cards are scheduled to ship at the beginning of April!
