Indies promoters will see their feds get fanciful when “Fancy” Ryan Clancy joins Filsinger Games as the first wrestler announced in Best of The Indies 2026!
Clancy, who may throw one of the best dropkicks in wrestling today, recently ended Marcus Mathers’s nearly 300 day run as the Undisputed IWTV Independent World Heavyweight Title holder, when he defeated Mathers. During his reign with the belt, Clancy continued to use his technical mat-based style to stymie all challengers. That is until he lost the title in a triple-threat match involving Bear Bronson and Marcus Mathers. Clancy lost the title when he accidentally hit Mathers with the World Title belt, instead of Bronson, allowing Bear Bronson to win the title. Clancy still claims to be the title holder, as he was never pinned for the title.
Clancy also has known success in the tag team realm of wrestling, as well, teaming up with the aforementioned Bear Bronson in a short-lived team known as The Fancy Bears. The team ended when Clancy hit Bronson with his DROPKICK finisher.
