Don Stansauk was a multi-sport powerhouse and larger than life human being. He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII, then played pro football for the Detroit Lions and Green Bay Packers before turning to professional wrestling in the early 1950s, taking the ring name of Hard Boiled Haggerty. His rugged charisma then carried over into Hollywood, where he enjoyed a successful acting career with roles in prominent television shows as well as major motion pictures.
Known in wrestling for his brash heel persona and imposing presence, Haggerty became a fixture in promotions across North America, capturing numerous singles and tag championships. A proud member of the Cauliflower Alley Club, Haggerty was honored with the prestigious Iron Mike Mazurki Award in 1993. Haggerty brings his hard-hitting style and larger-than-life legacy to the ring once again in the 2025 CAC expansion!
