Two Indies talents are out to show that the Midwest truly is best this fall as Dante Casanova and Mad Dog Connelly are bringing their contrasting styles to this fall’s Indies Promoter Prime!
Casanova, often known by the announced moniker of “El Jaguar,” began his pro career in 2021. In just four short years, Casanova has earned a reputation as one of the highest risers in Indies wrestling today. His unique look, wearing Aztec warrior garb, and an offense that combines unique power maneuvers that he executes with lightning quickness, have garnered him his share of victories in Indies promotions across the United States and into Canada. Casanova’s short career has also included exposure on national television wrestling in matches for one of the largest wrestling promotions in the United States. Casanova’s greatest acclaim during his short career has been his ongoing reign as the Midwest Champion for a national U.S. Indies promotion with a greater than 75-year history!
Mad Dog Connelly is a seven-year ring veteran, native of Springfield, Illinois, known for being the “King of The Dog Collar Match.” Connelly, often clad in black trunks and wrestling in taped bare feet, uses a style of wrestling that is less than scientific. His ruthless brawling style, including clubbing blows, bites, gouges, and chokes, and prowess in dog collar matches have made him an aggressive riser on the Indies scene. Connelly has won singles titles on two occasions in his career and has wrestled in Indies promotions across the United States, including in 2025, Beyond Wrestling and Ring of Honor. Connelly’s savage brawling style makes him a threat to any title holder in your Indies promotion, and he could even hold his own in death matches as well.
Casanova and Connelly will be joined by one additional new male Indies wrestler in this fall’s Indies Promoter Prime.
