GalactiCon, one of gamedoms longest running conventions, will celebrate its 35th anniversary on June 28-30 in Jamestown, New York!
This will be a main event celebration for Filsinger Games fans like no other! Along with the usual three-day festivities loyal promoters will be able to meet artist and colorist Tom Rickert!
Be sure to plan ahead NOW! You won’t want to miss this historic reunion and all the surprises in store for game fans!
FRIDAY
The celebration kicks off on Friday afternoon.  We will be hosting a Park Golf outing at Destroyer Park Golf in Akron, NY (near Buffalo).  This is not your regular golf course, but rather Park Golf which was brought to the US from Japan by the Destroyer himself, and is a shorter course where you need just one club and features a bigger ball.  Those that don’t want to play can still come hang out in the pavilion and chat with other promoters and check out the Destroyer memoribilia on hand.
After that we will head to the other side of Buffalo to Ilio DiPaolo’s Restaurant in Blasdell, NY.  Filsinger Games has a room booked with a family style dinner.  Enjoy some great food and friendship and also get your copy of GWF 2140 during the pre-release at Ilio’s.

SATURDAY
GalactiCon returns to the Student Union at Jamestown Community College, located at 525 Falconer Street in Jamestown, New York. The convention begins at 11:00 pm and runs until 7:00 pm. There will be game tournaments, auction, Q&A, and everything you’ve come to expect at GalactiCon including collectible game card releases to celebrate the return to our spiritual home! Also, artist and colorist Tom Rickert will be a special guest.
We will also have a Saturday night afterparty in downtown Jamestown for those that want to keep the celebration going.  More details on that to come.
SUNDAY
Sunday morning the convention will conclude with some final tournaments including the annual Canada Cup and GalactiCon Cup tournaments.  The location for this day will shift to Venue 31 in downtown Jamestown.  The location is a short walk from the new National Comedy Center museum for those that want to check that out before heading back home.
Tickets and more details will be at our Road to GalactiCon virtual convention on May 5th.  All the latest information can also be found on our GalactiCon webpage.
