This winter’s Independent Wrestling: 2024 Promoter Prime set release is headlined by Greatest Show in professional wrestling, comprised of Jay Lyon and Midas Black, who are known as The Mane Event!
Jay Lyon is a seven-year veteran of the ring wars and has earned the nickname “Blazin” due to his high impact mix of wrestling moves. Midas Black, “The Ringmaster”, is a six-year ring veteran that forms the other half of the team that has been together since 2018. During their six-year run, they have wrestled in a number of the top Indies promotions across the United States. They have notably made appearances in Indies promotions like Future Stars of Wrestling (FSW), Beyond Wrestling, Combat Zone Wrestling (CZW), among others. They have experienced success together, earning tag team titles along the way.
Lyon mixes a devastating power move-set with risky aerial moves that are not for the faint of heart, complimented by Black’s all-around style to make a formidable team and a stellar edition to any Filsinger Games Indies promoters’ feds. Lyon and Black have also competed against fellow Filsinger Games Independent Wrestling game stars Duke Davis and Ganon Jones Jr., a tag team that challenges for the name “Mane Event.” This is a match up that Filsinger Games promoters will be able to bring to their Indies feds soon!
The Mane Event joins Austin Ares (who was the winner of a recent poll to determine the male wrestler most in need of a card update) in this winter’s Independent Wrestling: 2024 Promoter Prime set.
