There aren’t enough words to describe the greatness of Ecuador’s greatest athlete, Juan Francisco De Coronado. At least as far as he is concerned! The brash and conceited De Coronado debuted in Chikara on the first event back after the promotion’s shut down, and quickly drew the ire of the Chikarmy with his extended ring entrances and ongoing bragging about selling out the “famed” Ecuadome on multiple occasions.
Despite his over-sized ego, he does have an impressive resume in Chikara. Juan was the first singles competitor to amass 3 points and challenge for the Chikara Grand Championship in season 14. He also captained the United Nations team to an impressive record in the Challenge of the Immortals in season 15. But his greatest accomplishment was leading the winning team and being the sole survivor in the 2015 Torneo Cibernetico. That event kicked off an intense feud with Mr. Touchdown, which recently ended in a brutal No Disqualification match, a rarity in Chikara.
Now Juan Francisco De Coronado’s sights are set on leading the United Nations team of himself, Prakash Sabar and the Proletariat Boar of Moldova to the King of Trios crown. Can they do it?
