Daniel Makabe, also known as “The Wrestling Genius” has spent 20+ years in the professional wrestling business refining a technical wrestling style that makes him one of Indie wrestling’s foremost mat technicians. “The Wizard of Queen’s Park” got his start wrestling in Canada, specifically in his home province of British Columbia, Canada. As his career progressed, Makabe settled in the Pacific Northwest, where he has spent the majority of his career wrestling for a number of Pacific Northwest Indies promotions, winning singles gold on multiple occasions. At the beginning of the year, Makabe announced that he would be retiring from professional wrestling at the conclusion of 2024, potentially putting an end to the career of one of Indie wrestling’s most technically proficient and innovative wrestlers of the last two decades.
