This past Sunday October 25th was the latest Filsinger Games virtual event, our 2020 Holiday Kickoff. In addition to game tournaments, there was a panel that discussed each of the 3 holiday releases being released this December!
First up was the Women of the Indies 2020 game edition, which will feature 8 top level Indie women. The first name announced was Midwest standout Kylie Rae! Kylie ranked #19 in the 2020 PWI Women’s 100 and now will be getting her debut Filsinger Games card!
Next up was the announcement of BATTLE LINES, a Champions of the Galaxy game edition that is set on the planet Kronos and features fighters from all over space and time. This set will incorporate certain cards from 2017-2020 COTG Prime and provide an exciting new story line for promoters to play out. For those not caught up on COTG prime, you will be able to purchase a package that includes all the cards you need to start playing. Holiday Kickoff attendees were treated to a preview video that features all the art from this exciting game edition. That video will be available to the public later in November.
Lastly we discussed Legends Expansion VI, which will feature a number of popular wrestlers from the mid to late 80’s. The first 2 names announced for the set are the Warlord and the Barbarian! This is the debut card for the Barbarian. There will also be special edition cards to compliment this set.
Preorder for all the holiday releases will be on Black Friday, November 27th. Stay tuned each Monday (COTG), Wednesday (Indie) and Friday (Legends) from now until December 11th for more names and artwork. And save the date for Saturday January 23rd for the next Filsinger Games Virtual Convention.
